At Little Shop of Wonders, we take your privacy seriously. Like, Fort-Knox-meets-Hogwarts seriously. Below you will find a friendly guide to what info we collect, why we need it, and how we promise to keep it safe.

What we collect (and why we ask)

When you make a purchase from our shop of curious delights, we will need a few basics:

Your name, surname, phone number, email address, billing address, and delivery address.

Nothing creepy—just what is necessary to deliver your treasures safely and keep your order running smoothly.

We may also collect the name, surname, phone number, email address, billing address, and delivery address of the person you wish to deliver a kind and thoughtful gift to – in which case you warrant that you have the right to provide us with this info – and we promise not to use it for any reason other than to deliver their treats. 

We collect only what we need to:

  • Identify you as a customer (so your parcel does not go on an unexpected adventure)
  • Identify your recipient
  • Process your order,
  • Meet any legal or security requirements, and
  • Improve the magical experience of shopping with us.

We will always tell you why we are asking for your info, and you can choose whether or not to share it. (Though without it, some of our products and services may stay just out of reach.)

How we collect the info

We gather your information directly through forms you fill in on our website. We will never ask you for your info via SMS, WhatsApp, carrier pigeon, or shady email.

If someone claiming to be from us does, please report them to us immediately. (We do not like impersonators, wannabes or spam.)

In rare cases—like for fraud prevention—we may verify information through official channels. But this is very unusual and always above board.

Who gets to see the info

Only a trusted handful of our team members (or partners helping us with something very specific, like delivery) can access your information—and only for the reasons we have explained above.

We never sell, trade or rent your personal information to anyone, and we never will.

If our little shop ever changes ownership, we will let you know. You will have the option to request your information be deleted if you would prefer not to pass it along with the keys.

How we protect your Deets

Your data is stored securely, with digital locks, encryption charms, and restricted access. Only our authorised tech elves (well, developers) can reach it, and only when necessary.

How long we keep your info

Sometimes we need to hold onto your information for legal, tax, or record-keeping reasons—even after your last magical purchase.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will do our best to comply (unless the law tells us otherwise).

We may use anonymised information for research, business improvement, or to make our shop even more wonderful for future visitors.

Your Rights (a Quick Scroll of Empowerment)

  • You can ask us what info we have on you.
  • You can ask us to update it, delete it, or stop using it.
  • You can say no to direct marketing—no hard feelings.
  • You can complain to the right authorities if you think we have stepped out of line (but we hope we never give you a reason to).
